Anemone

Anyone ever heard of this one. My anemone lost a tentacle or arm and it was at the bottom of the tank all shriveled up. This morning I wake up and it is long and fat, alive I tell you, alive!! Is that cool or what. I wonder if I can glue him onto a rock or just set it next to a rock and see if he attaches. Tell me what you think. Cool!!

Some of the more aggresive clowns (Tomatos, Gold Stripes) will often be extremely rough with a newly introduced anemone to the point where they will rip some tentacles off. I have witnessed this first hand with a couple of my anemones and I think it is the clowns way of finding out the anemones maximum potential sting to kind of gauge if it is a livable host. If you don't have any new clowns or it is not a new anemone my guess is a predator of some sort got it? I wouldn't try gluing it down!!
