The only anemone they will not host as far as I know is the bubble tip. I know my clowns wont go near my bta. I feed mine at least twice a week either shrimp or squid but there is a whole menu of food you can feed it.

Not entirely true. Perc. clowns may want a BTA as a host. Mine did and so did others. It is just up to the clown to decide, and your decided not to.
BTA's are a good beginner choice and require less light compared to some other anemones, but still require high lighting and stable water conditions.
How many watts and what type of lighting do you have?
How long has your tank been setup for?
What size tank is it?

I feed mine 1x a week with Brime Shrimp. I use tank water place food in there for about 1/2 hr then I use a turkey baster and spray down around all the anemones.

Thanks for the help.
I have a 75 gallon. With 2X250 XM with 4X65 atinic lighting. My tank has been up for about 2 years and reef set up for the last 7 months.
