My anemone has stringy stuff comming off of it. any ideas what it is?

sometimes that happens during expultion of waste.but to be save check all water parimeters sg ph am nitrates ect also check iodine levels they do need it to survive .if you normally dont dose iodine you may want to .i use kents logal solution be careful not to overdose as iodine can be lethal to your fish and corals if given to much.but fish and inverts do require it to survive in some form in the water
