Am i correct in saying that fish and inverts know to stay away from an anemone. I just got a BTA and I have hermit crabs, and snails.

Yes.. however inverts like hermits and shrimp are not affected by an anemones stings, unless it touches their eye (lol). My shrimp always steals my anems food, and occasionally gets zapped from what I can only assume in the eye. It rockets accoss the tank at about mach 1 and scrubs its face violently..
Fish have a natural tendency to stay away from them, unless their intention is to host.

coo thanks. You have anythoughts on if tank raised clowns will take it as there host. I thought they might do it rather quickly considering they act like my caulerpa is an anemone. haha
