does there poop allways have to be stringy? or do they poop different ways? my hatian purple eats a pice of shrimp gets really big then lets out like a half eayen pice of the shrimp does that mean its to big? hes growin alot so i think hes doing fine.
OH AND TODAY WHEN I TURNED OF THE LIGHTS I SAW A LONG TENTECLE TYPE THING IT WAS RED AND BLUE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS SCRAED THE CRAP OUT OF ME, WHEN I TURNED THE LIGHT BACK ON IT WENT BACK INTO THE ROCK, ANYONE NO WAT OT OS, ID THINK ITS HOLE BODY WAS OUT

Ya either means your anemone is too stressed to eat or the pieces of shrimp is too large. Sometimes it just may not be hungry either. If you have the proper lighting spot feeding is rarely necessary - once or twice a month would be plenty in a good T5 or MH system.

As for the red, maybe a bristle worm, you'd have to get a picture or positively identify it from a picture. Google bristle worm (there are LOTS of different types) and see if you find anything resembling what you have.

the thing from what i saw was like 3 w inches long, there was still some in the rock. WHAT DO I DO? do i stay up all night to wait till he comes out and grab him and take him out, what do i do , i dont mind him in there as long as he wont do anything bad, are they bad?

There is no way to tell what it is until you get a good look at him. I'm not saying to stay up every night from now on until you find him, turn your lights out early the next few nights so that you can check the dark tank before you go to bed. I don't know what it is, all i'm saying is until you can identify it there is no telling if it is a good or bad thing.

Yes, they won't eat inverts unless inverts touch it. They won't see out an invert to eat, but if one stumbles upon its tenticles it may be a meal.
