anemones hanging on

I am starting to get tired of my two BTAs. They look all white and pathetic and small and no bubble tips and droopy all the time, but the things won't die! Its like they just keep hanging on. I almost want them to die so I can feel good about getting new ones or something...but obviously I don't really want them to die...so what can i do? They live at the bottom of the 20 inch tank. Lighting is 135 watts of 50/50 that they have survived in for 1 year so don't tell me more lighting though I realize that could help. Should i scoop them up and move them closer to the lights? Suggestions?

Not really sure what else you want to hear, or even what else you can do. They're white because you don't have enough light.

See I would buy that with the exception that they have been great for 10 months and just recently did they start acting this way...so i know things can compensate....but not that long if it were really the light they would have decompensated earlier.

Assuming you are all correct, which I don't necessarily disagree..would replacing the lighting with appropriate stuff bring them back or are they gone?

We are really unsure what you want to hear you narrowed the possibilities, excluding the correct answer, you need more light and they should recover
