i just got a new anemone. i had a small cut on my finger after touching the anemone, my finger started stinging really bad. is it from the anemone?

either that or the saltwater, i didnt realize i had a cut on my finger until i stuck my hand in one of my tanks yesterday

There are worse things that can grow on the underside of LR that can hurt you other than your corals and anemones. Wearing protective gear is a smart move IMO.
