anemones under 440 watts?

I have a 55g tank and I want to be able to keep just about anything. If i upgraded my lights would a BTA be able to live under 440 watts vho?

Oh man. Last year I went through the aquasuns never again, they cast a pink shadow.
But URI bulbs are the best, go for 2 5050's and 2 actinic blue. Its a perfect combination that should do well for your tank.
Reminds me I do need to order 4 new 46.5" bulbs, thanks.

Got a question. I read in another column that the atinic light does not count as any watts that go to the tank for a anemone because they dont use this light. Is this true or not??

IMO this is a photosynthetic animal, therefore the 420nm of the actinic counts.
If it doesn't then I'd like to know about it, and why.
