Anemones

We have a heteractis ritteri anemone. it has two percula clowns in it. we have it in a 55 gallon tank. the anemone has been moving around the tank and most recently appeared to now have two mouths. a smaller piece attached. i've been told it is splitting. however, today now i find that it is losing tentacles. does anyone know what this means or what i should do? or should i leave it be?

what do you mean "losing tentacles"?

are they falling off? or dissapearing? if they are falling off you can get some super glue and a paper clip, glue the tentacle back on and skewer it together with a paper clip to hold it in place..
