Anemones?

Would you recommend an anemone for a first reef aquarium? We'll be getting a 65g tank and plan on having 2 clownfish in there. We haven't decided on other fish just yet and I'm not sure if the anemone would be harmful to other types.
If it would be something we could have, what type would you recommend?

clown hosting anemones require pretty strong lighting and a stable tank. an anemone can go in someones first reef, after metal halide or T5 lighting, and after a few months.
non clownhosting anemones usually don't require as much light, but usually need lower temperatures and can become a nuisance.

I have a hard time keeping anenomes alive for more than a few months. I maintain quality water and feed them kril or silversides every other day. Any thoughts?

but im sure you read that somewhere, why do people read stuff and pass it on as if its for certain. ok yes i would go to say no matter if it host or doesnt, i would keep it under good lighting, and im not talking abut metal halides, HO's can do the tricc aslong as you have enough.
i kept BTA under PC'S for 8 mo, it hosted my clown but decided to move into the direction of a powerhead that didnt have a bottom to stop suction of inverts. "MY MISTAKE". Anyways, water parameters, doesnt mean much either like i previously stated in another forum i havent done a water change in 2 1/2 mo i just top off and add a buffer, not that i recommend this but its a test im doing. and everythings fine. dont get discouraged by anenonmes. i heard they crash your tank when dead. hahah, well mine got sucked up a powerhead and shot out the spout clouding my tank, everything lived, fish and corals, and tank didnt crash
oh and i have no sump or refugium, i have two Hang on filt. and two protein skimmers with 4 power heads,

Thanks for your thoughts. I am taking my ballist instructions and bulbs to the fish store today so I can learn what I really have!
