anenome and powerhead

Last night my florida condy decided to go a wandering and it looks like it may have lost some tentacles to a powerhead. I have turned them off, but I am wondering if this will hurt anything else in the tank? It is a 100 gallon system and the water does look cloudy, but my corals are still open. Should I begin a massive water change or will everything be okay? Thanks.

Been there done that. If just the tenticles were damaged it will most likely recover on its own. Try to clean up any pieces you see and remember to turn your PHs back on. If your water is cloudy (mine wasnt), IMO, I would do a water change, add some carbon to help clear/filter it a bit (if possible). Also, condys are known to wonder, might what to remove it while it is not attached, next time it could be a coral getting stung......... HTH. edited---I was typing as you bumped this LOL

I had a carpet wander onto a powerhead and totally kill itself.
I was not so upset about the anenome as I was that the toxins it released killed every fish in my tank but the clowns... Never again will I put an anenome in my tank
