Anenome dead?

I bought an anenome over the weekend from the lfs. It looked really healthy in the tank, and we saw that it was splitting. The first day in our tank, it was doing fine. However, the next day it started spitting out red clumps of I don't know what. Now, today, it is all deflated. It's tenticles are still green, but it is so tiny now that I don't know whether it's still alive or not. Anyway to tell for sure?
Thanks

Don't worry too much. Just give it time. It needs to fill back up with water. As long as you have enough light..it should be fine. I have a green bubble which when enflated fully is the size of a frisbee, when it deficates and releases the gunk and water... it gets the size of a ping pong ball..in fact the tentacles seem to be a little brighter in color..
