I have two types of anemones in my tank: the green ones, and the pink ones

Ok, ok that's how my boyfriend & I refer to them but I'd really like to have a better idea of what they are. I think
they're both just some version of a long tentacle anemone, but if anyone has a better idea of what kind they are please let me know!

Did you puchase all of them or did some split into ??
IMO those are BTAs with the exception of the one farthest right, That one Im not sure, could also be a BTA or a condy.

Wow dogstar, I never thought of that. It just kind of clicked. Usually the pinkish one is much smaller and when I 1st aquired the tank I thought it was a BTA; this is a rare shot of it all opened up, most of the time the tenticles are shorter and swollen. The green ones on the other hand have never had the true "bulbs", but they don't always do that right?? ..especially when they are the sizes of dinner plates..? And funny you should ask! - all are spliting like crazy. I was up to 7 anenomes in my 55 gallon before I finally spent my entire day off last week peeling my least favorite 3 off their rocks and carting them off to my LFS. Everything seems happier now that there's more room to move around in!
