anenome questions

I recieved a anenome from a friend aand i dont know what type it is. Some days his tentacles will be retracked in and some day the will be extend is it normal for these to do that. If it isnt normal what do i need to do.
Here is a pic of it

It could be a condi, but I do not think it is. Condis are generally not that "flowery" and expose more of the foot as opposed to sitting flat on the sand bed like that.
All anemones will swell and subsequently deflate when they are place din a new environment, they are trying to acclimate their internal water to that of the new environment.
make sure you have stable parameters, good lighting, and spot feed meatyy foods occasionally.

IMO I too think its a condy...I dont want to say 100% for sure but from that pic it looks it to me. It also looks like you have a FO or FOWLR tank. I hope you have ample lighting for it, they require a pretty substantial amount of light.
