anenome stuck in overflow!

i came to work this am and saw my anenome stuck being half sucked down the top of my tank!! I pulled him out and now he looks awful!!! all small and puny and color is off... is he dead? is he going to die? thanks!!

Death is a common out come after Anemone SUCK! if any part of the animal is torn or damaged I'd remove it to a QT if it dies in your display tank you'll hate it (PUUU!!). I use coarse foam filter covers on my intakes and it seems to help. They just can't fight the pull once they're caught. I'm sorry to say but this is a common thread on this board.
