Anenome: unusual hosting?

I have had a rose bubble tip for over a year. In this time, it has split once(the other half died a while back). It has hosted a maroon since the day I bought the two. The lfs said they actually came to them together and where hoping someone would buy together. The maroon died a couple weeks ago. Since then one of my peppermint shrimp enjoys hiding beside the foot almost in the tentacles on the inner side of the crevice the anenome is in. Now a three stripe damsel seems to be enjoying the compnay of the anenome too. The fish seems to also like to be just beside the anenome, however more in the front closer to the tentacles. I would assume this is not typical. I am guessing the anenome is not stinging either since they contiune to come back. Any ideas what is going on here?

Well first off clownfish are a type of damsel so damsels hosting in them is not unheard of...not typical, but not unusual.
As for the shrimp, a few weeks ago I would have said that is bizarre....but mine is doing the same thing! He gets brushed by the anemone all the time and seems unaffected. Strange but apparently not that unusual.

Well I feel better then. I thought for a moment I had psychotic fish. I can live with them being a bit different or unusual even. Thanks

Not to unusual I had a Domino Damsel that lived in a Condi Anemone, he hardly ever left the Anemone. He started out just like your Damsel is, so don't worry if you come home and its in the Anemone.
