Anenome with reg fish

Is it safe to put an anenome in with other fish than clowns? I dont want to get a new fish if it will only be eaten.
IE what are the chances of the fish going to swim to its doom...?

I have had several different fish in a tank with an anemone. The other fish just avoid it. I'm not sure if there are types of them that seek out fish or will otherwise eat one, but haven't heard of it. Others might have better insight on this, but IMHO from what I know other fish are safe with an anemone.
