You have your salinity at 35. If that is supose to be 1.035,your salinity is way too high, you need to bring it down, But do it slowly. Your salinity should only be 1.025.

I believe mandarin is confusing salinity with specific gravity
a salinity of 35 would be a specific gravity of 1.026
IMO salinity should be 32.5 to 36 which is a specific gravity of 1.024 to 1.027
Your salinity is fine.

From what I have read on here, brown is good if you are talking about its tenacles. They use them to store photosythesis(sp?) organisms in them. If it is a purple tip like mine, mine is white and that is not good. I am trying everything to get it to turn brown but it will take time to get the organisms back in it. BTW welcome to the board. Also what is your lights?
