I've keep hearing that you need a good flow and good lighting to keep an anenome. Can someone give me some recomendations?

I bought my first bta a month if you noticed post down the page called before and a month later. Its in a med. to little slower flow but remmeber a anenome will move to where it likes the flow and lighting. For lighting I have coralife light with a total of 192W and you see in the pic its loving it. Right now i'm going on 13 months on the bulbs and waiting for the new replacement bulbs to come in hopfully which is another story in it self.

A lot depends on the type of anemone. Bubble tip anemone (bta) is usually the best choice for aquariums. For flow I like 15-20x turnover with a really random pattern. It's hard to have too much. The anemone will move to where it likes. For lights I recomend medium to high lights. 4 watts per gallon of pc being the lower end of what I'd do.
These are pretty general guidlines. Tell us about your setup and what you want then we can help a little more.

Lighting and good water is the most important.....
I really dont recommend PC's for Anemones....
I would use MH's or a ton of T-5's before PC...but then again thats just MO

I have 15x turnover in my tank. Never has moved off the spot i put it on. I just went with PC's becuase i'm a poor college student

It can be done...like said my prefrence is higher light..

Believe me i would have the best type of light if i had the money... At least Pc's are cheap and are between HO and VHO for their strength
