a rock flower would be fine if placed high, but they don't host clowns. the lta will host but won't survive under pc lighting.
rock flowers' stings really bug me.

You might be ok with a bubble tip with the lights you have.. MIGHT... your on the light side for PC lighting. They are the species that dont require as much as others but IMO less than 3 watts per gal is pushing it. You do have PC lighting correct? 10K PC's with or without actinic's? not just std flourscent..

If you keep it up close to the top, your lights might work, but IMO you would be pushing it.

I believe what he is trying to say is that you currently have 2 x 65W lights. Which is actually 130 total watts. He said 260 Watts would be his recommended minimum. So it isnt just a matter of having PC lights. It is a matter of how much total wattage they are putting out.

Correct, PC Lighting is minimum as far as type, but your wattage is a tad low.. Looking at your tank you need to assess depth as well as wattage, in my tank I have a bta under 72 watts of PC's and its only a 29 gal cube.. but its 20" high which is what a 55 gal is. I think you can do it with a BTA, but its close. If you look at it as depth of your tank you have enough watts to sustain photosynthsis but your volume of water assesed as watts per gal is below what is recomended.. Thats not always a determining factor though. My BTA is perfectly happy in 72 watts of PC lighting. Although 260 watts of PC's lighting is great IMO I dont think its necessary for a BTA.

LTAs are a high light anemone and need a lot of light. I wouldnt look at the BTA personally either because of it light demands. Can the be kept under PC yes but with 130 it really isnt going to be enough light to keep them healthy long term.
