First of all what is NEMO other than a galactic alliance (inside joke). What type of clownfish is nemo exactly, this will help me to make a suggestion.
Second, can you tell me anything about your lights?.. Total wattage, what kind of lighting you have?

I'm afraid that is right, absolutly no hosting anemone can be kept under that type of lighting, these are photosynthetic animals and you must have much stronger lighting, this does not mean adding more Normal Output bulbs. You will need to look at VHO or PC lighting with special ballasts.

thank you for all the help, the anenome that we have appears to be doing fine he moves all over the tank and eats fine, the bulbs you are talking about are the ones sold at LFS? If I was to get one of the other bulbs would the light need to remain on for longer periods through out the day?

yep, they sell different bulbs at the LFS. I used a 50/50 in my old tank, I think it was a reef sun. Anyways, my anemone did great with that lighting. Leaving them on for about 12 hours a day will be fine, because that's about what they get in the ocean reef.

Normal output bulbs will not be sufficiant. With a regular standard fixture you can not just plug a VHO or PC bulb into it, it will not have enough power to run it. You must have a special ballast to run those bulbs, many of them are as large or larger than a brick. Look up VHO and PC lighting and you will see what I mean.
