anenomes ... anyone ...anyone

ok here is the thing ... i went out and got 2 pink tip anenomes and they are both doing fine .. my clowns love them but the thing of it is 1 has found where it wants to stay and has pretty much been there for the entire time i have had them but the other seems to keep wedging itself into the smallest of spots even squeezing into a small hole in a rock and getting stuck ..we had to break the rock .. is this a normal thing or am i just dealing with anenome gump here .. thanks all <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />

Ive had a few anenomes in my time and that is pretty normal, they usually do that when they first get introduced to the tank. Give it some time and it will find a "comfortable" spot where the current/lighting is the best.

We purchased a white condi with purple tips after our tank got started and he constantly moved around the tank while our pink condi w/ purple tips stayed comfortably attatched to the tank wall. We watched the white one for a while and noticed that he kept lodging himself between and behind objects. After close observation we noticed its foot/disc was ripped. Since we never moved it since we placed him in our tank we conculed that the LFS that sold him to us must have removed him from thier tank improperly and caused damage to the disc. So while your anemone moves, try to look underneather him to see where or not his disc is damaged in anyway. Just and idea.

they move around alot and shrink down and hide in small places in the rock for awhile the open up again its normal just give it time to ajust.
