Anemones are not easy to keep alive.Especially in a YOUNG TANK like yours. They also need high power lighting to keep the algae inside them alive. This algae feed the anemone through photosinthasis(sp?).This is where lighting comes in.Has it lost any of it's color??? This would be a sign that the algae inside is dying off. You can also check to see if it still has it's sting. This sting is also very inportant to it's survival. And another sure way to see if it is doing well. Test this by slowly touching it's tenticals with your finger. If it seems to stick to your finger, then his sting is still intact(good sign) the third test you can do is watch very closly as you touch it. He should move,or flinch as your finger touches it. If it fails any of these tests(color, sting,or flinching),then it is not doing well. Unfortunatly there is not much you can do for a dying anemone. They have a very slow matabalism, and usually by the time they are showing signs of distress,it is too late to help them.....What do you have for lighting??? Do you have good water circulation in this tank(powerheads)????Do you feed it,and what/how often????
