Can a queen angel and a bamboo shark coexist in a tank? I have a 180, and was wondering if I could add the angel.
THanks

Well, I know that angels and rays can't...and my Aquarium Sharks and Rays book says no. In fact, I'm looking at page 166 right now and large angels are on the "no" list...also on the "no" list are scorpion fish, butterfly fish, filefish, triggers, puffers and porkies. Most of them will just pick at your shark or ray.
On the maybe list (page 168) are the following:
Morays, snake eels, squirrel fish, groupers, batfishes, cardinal fishes, goatfishes, snappers, damsels, hawkfish, sand perches and gobies.
Do you have this book? It's a great reference! By Scott Michaels.
Hope this helps!

From what I've seen and heard of, Angels will pick at a shark's cartilidge. It isn't advised and caution should be used if you go that route. I've seen the scenario end both ways. HTH
