From what i have read it is not recommended to put 2 angelfish in the same tank together, but doesnt say if its 2 of the same kind of angel fish or 2 angel fish in general?
Just wondering if anyone has been able to keep 2 angel fish in the same tank together.
I have a coral beauty and was looking at maybe getting a blue angel but figured i better check first!
LFS says they should be fine in the same tank, what do you guys think?

it all depends on how big your tank is. if you have, say, a 150g tank, you should be ok, because it's big enough for them to establish their own territories. If you only have a 55g, it's not recommended, as they do become territorial.

they would be going into my 210, my 55 is mostly used to mix water in and a qt when needed.

i'd say with a 210, you should be fine. JMO, though. That's plenty big enough for two dwarf angels, especially because they're pretty comfortable in a 30 gallon. They probably won't establish a territory much bigger than that, so there's plenty of room for each to establish their own.

I think if the tank is healthy and well establish and the CB is in first then should be OK to add a Blue Angelfish....make sure you have large enough caves/holes in the rock work for the Blue to hang out/hide in when it gets BIGGER....

I wouldn't do it no matter what.
I ended up with coral beauty after watching the fight go down in my LFS's tank. He accidentally added a second angel into a tank as he thought he sold the one out of the tank.

yeah, but how big was the tank? it probably was one of those holding tanks that's like 20g's if that's the case, it's not really a good comparison to a 210 gallong tank. :)

IMO, that no 2 angels thing is really per genus, and in a 210, sure if you want. The CB needs to be in long enough to think its boss of the world. He also needs things to hide in throughout the tank, not just at one end. Make sure the Blue is pretty young, juvi preferably. The Blue will most likely not see the CB as a threat.
I'm still inclined to throw in a disclaimer though and say a definately maybe.
