They just got it in and the owner wasnt there. They hadnt updated the list yet. He is there now. I could go back and get the ID. I know its not a conspic but it looks very similiar

Haha I've been working when you spend all day working on tanks and talking about fish its not exactly the first thing you want to do when you get home. The 100 is up and running and about half stocked. I am setting up a 56 gallon seahorse tank now, then its on to the 180.
As far as the black velvet goes their a medium size angel(get around 7") fairly hardy for an angel about the same as the bigger dwarfs are when it comes to reef compatibility. Tend to be shy for an angel.

very very true. i asked many questions and have learned a ton. i drenched my mind in this hobby. example this post

I will add that these fish are commonly imported from the Philippines, meaning to be careful purchasing. They're usually cyanide caught, and/or pretty physically beat up, tons of marks on their sides, etc. Look for one that's alert, should react to you approaching the tank, and eats at the store.
