I am planning on getting a 50g tank I would like to know what type of fish I should get. I was thinking Flame Angelfish 3 Yellow head jawfish 2 Percula Clownfish. Is this too many, will they get along? I am new to this board and to this hobbie. Please, any advice, do you guys hve any fish you prefer?

On the other hand, Jawfish during a startup wouldn't be a good idea. First, Jawfish will eat organism from the DSB (one way its bad because that will damage the purpose) but he will not find anything when tank is not mature enough, so he will go hungry.
Also, make sure that you don't get crushed coral. It will be painful for those guy and they wont last. Make sure it is so fine that they can take it through their mouth and discard it through gill

i say cycle your tank with damsels then remove and get the jawfish first so they settle in their homes and they will be the first fish in the tank then. Or if you want just start with the percs and leave them in they shoudlnt bother the jawfish in a bigger tank

some an anenome for your cloen fishes when you fish tank is cycled. Get really good lighting too

If you plan on eventually having a reef, I would suggest a school of firefish. They are fun to watch in a group setting and much more active this way...The angel is a great choice too but as was suggested wait a few months as I have never found them as hardy as everyone claims.

I've heard that. I looked on the store and saw a carpet anemone will these work and how much lighting do I need
