Angelfish Gill growth please help

That is lymphocystis. Sounds worse then it is. The fish will always have this, but it can be very well controlled. Take a look at this info:

If you tried to surgically remove this, then that would be a very bad idea for heath and well being of your fish. I would say never attempt such again. Better to find a viable treatment if one exists, or let the fish pass naturally.
