its luck of the draw, with that sized tank tho you can do alot of things, you can deffinently keep a pygmy angel with a large angel, but its a bit different with large with large and pygmy with pygmy, i have a changing annularis and im about to put a slightly larger adult emporer, as long as the emporor is larger it shouldnt be a problem, all depends on the size of your tank tho

Because people will add a 6" Koran angel to an established 7" Emperor in a 90gal, and that, will not work.

I think everybody takes the SWF.com alert about Angels to heart....Which is probably good. But Angels are about the same as many other fish, given proper sized tank, appropriate introduction time and fish size they can certainly coexist.
Like Aqua said a 6 in Koran is not going to do well in a 90 with a six inch Emperor....Of course the same could be said for many combos of Tangs, Wrasses, Clowns and other family of fish in a tank too small.
