Anglers

I have been bestowed a gift of a small Angler. The giver did not know exactly what kind he was but knew I wanted one. I have some medium-sized fish that the big Anglers can eat(I'm told). He is jet-black, about 2 inches(now), his lure is a straight one with 2 small antenna-like ends. He's so cute, but I want to know if I should be worried about my Marine Betta and my Coral Beauty. I have seen many other colors, but not black.

I wouldn't trust an angler with the Marine Betta. I think the coral Beauty should be alright but anglers have very large mouths. The only fish my LFS puts in with anglers are lionfish. I hope to get an angler when I set up my 150 gallon next summer~!
