Animal stock for a 50 gallon

These are some of the animals I was thinking of checking out for my 50 gallon reef. I am hopefully going to start the corals first before adding mobile inverts and fish.Clean-up Crew:
Currently 12 Astraea sp. snails and 8 blue leg hermits... thinking of adding a few more blue leg hermits and some scarlets, along with 6-8 more snails.
Q: Would an emerald crab be a good idea, or would it, like the sally lightfoots, eventually attack my shrimps, small fish and sessile inverts like fan worms? Any other species for clean up?
Corals:

Going to start with some LPS. Torch, hammer and frogspawn. Have kept these in the past with success. Would also like to add long tentacle torch coral, bubble coral, flower pot coral and possibly brain coral.
I am also going to add various polyps and mushrooms, particularly to the "lower" areas of the rock. These will be added, for the most part, after the LPS have been established.
Q: If I ever wanted to branch off into SPS, what would be a good "starter" species??
Inverts:

I currently have snails and tiny reef-safe hermits. I would like to add a cleaner shrimp and perhaps a pistol shrimp (if I could get one with a symbiotic goby I'd be mad happy!) I love sally lightfoots, but their predatory nature concerns me. I have a natural colony of small fan worms that I think the crab would hassle or eat outright, and I don't want that to happen.
As far as sessile inverts, I think I'd eventually like to add a Crocea sp. clam, but I believe I will need to change my lights around a bit to add more 10K T5 bulbs. I also am interested in keeping a few larger fan worms.
My GF likes urchins. I don't want one of those black, long-spined urchins. I saw pincushion urchins on ***********. What's the deal with these guys? Do they make good reef dwellers??
Fish:

There are several fish species I like and I'm not sure how many I could have or which would be best together.
Here's the species I like: Yellow Jawfish, Percula or false percula clownfish, Firefish, six-lined wrasse, diamond watchman, pink spotter or yellow watchman goby, Fridmani psuedochromis, cardinalfish, zebra dartfish, yellow tang (I feel like this one may get too big), flame angel (have heard these are hit or miss in reefs), and neon blue gobies.
Again, these are species I like... not really sure what to add, how much to add, or in what order. I would definitely appreciate any advice. This tank is in my living room and is going to be my "showcase" tank. I want it to be bright, colorful, and as active as possible.
Thanks in advance for your help and advice!

from what i have heard the tang might be too small for a 50 gallon
you could do a percula sixline ( just be aware the sixline might nip at a fishes fins) and the angel i have heard will nip at caertain corals what cardinal fish where you thinking of, they do nice in schools but they do fine without at school too, hopes this helps a little i did not go over everything though just a few things!

Just the normal bangai cardinals. I feel "crunched" because I want to get the most active and interesting and colorful fish and invert combination I can get for as "small" a tank as mine is (and for the realm of sw, it is indeed small). I really want this tank to be the focal point of my living room.
And yeah, I had heard that flames are hit or miss with regards to reef safety-- I have pretty much Xed them off the list at this point. If I added the sixline last, would it be okay? I have heard clowns can also be territorial... maybe add clown and sixline at the same time?? Dead last?
