i really wanted an emperer angel because they are so pretty...(even though are expensive) the juv. stage of the annularis angel are similiar to the juv. stage of the emperer angel.... the annularis angel seem to be herbivores, but why are they not reef safe?:notsure: :confused: :confused: :notsure:

bluestriped angelfish get large and at that time start to consume various inverts and corals, becoming omnivores and not strict herbivores!

annularis angels are not herbivores, they are omnivores. their diet consists of mostly veggies but a good sized portion should be meaty foods as well which has to partly include sponges.
