Not really.... better left in the ocean unless you have some good knowledge about the type your keeping. Along with good water quality and proper lighting.

Simply put many folks enjoy the simbiotic relationship between the clown fish and the anemones.
That is the major reason many people TRY to keep anemones.

anyone had any luck keeping them under vho's???...i was wanting a get a coral or something that my clowns would take a liking too....i had a BTA but it died

I kept BTA's under 360 watts of VHO for a few years in a 55 gallon, 440 watts of VHO in a 90 gallon, and then 440VHO+500MH in the same 90 gallon. Raised them for 6 years and still have some.
