ohh ok..Are you 100% sure they are maxima..I heard they are like impossiable to find or get. I would expect them to go for more then $250 a head

I didn't name them, I took the names off of the website I took the pictures from...They have them labeled as Maximas...I wouldn't know the difference.

Hard to tell without seeing the skeleton but those look more like aussie scoly's than Maxima's to me.

I've seen some sites selling the maximas for upwards of $650 - $900, but they
were the ultra rare color morphs.

All of those corals labeled "Maxima" aren't really Acanthastrea maxima. Most of them are A. bowerbanki, some are A. hillae, and then some are even Lobophyllia sp.. All of the unidentified mussidae corals seem to get labeled as maximas also. The real A. maxima get to be about the size of a baseball and are only found around Oman and just like the Omanensis clownfish, the Sultan doesn't let people collect them.

So what you saying Viper??? You can get them on the low-low for some dough dough $$$$ ????

Don't be coming up in here with a problem if you don't have a solution...

Really though, that is some great info....and like I said, I wouldn't have known the difference...you're off the hook 05xrunner... LOL
