Another anemone questions

This question popped in my head because my bulb anemone looks nothing like any bubble tip anemone I ever saw. It doesn't really have tentacles, it has bulbs. During the day it looks like a bunch of big bubbles. So is a bubble tip the same as a bulb anemone or are they completely different? Also is it possible to keep a rose bubble tip and a regular bubble tip in the same tank? I know different species shouldn't be kept together, but how about different kind of the same species?

Bulb and Bubble are different type and looks .. from your description I say its a BTA (bubble).
Can you keep different species or more tha one of the same species of anenome in a tank? It depends on how big is the anenome in relation to the tank size and space availability .. In my experience, I more concern with the corals mixed with anenome. But if you have carbon in your tank it should help reducing the so called chemical warfare between the anenome/corals .. but a direct sting is a different story & result.

Thanks. I read on another site that usually anemones of different species have chemical warfare, not ones of the same species. Like when I go to the LFS they always have a whole bunch of LTA or BTA in the same tank and they're right next to each other.

My DT has 4 types of anenomes and they are blooming just fine, they are distance to each other and I don't use carbon .. IMO, LFS separate the species because of the risk (if it died then they loose money) and usually their tank is not big enough where they can be distance enough from each species plus for easy inventory/pricing.
This is how I did mine if you want to try, don't buy 2 different types at the same time. Try to buy one and let it settle in your tank and wait for 1 month before introducing another one. Use this 1 month period to see if your anenome is doing good or not. When you introduce the new one, try to use carbon for 2 - 3 days to help out with the possibility of chemical warfare. Place them at least about 1 foot from each other. Yes, it will move and if that is the case let the nature find it spot. At any point please make sure they are not on top of each other.
