Another camera question

I currently have a Canon PowerShot A50. I bought it about 2 years ago. When this forum opened I started getting the urge to buy a new camera. So my question is, what is the best camera I can get for around 400-500 bucks?

Check out www.dpreview.com for opinions and reviews on everything available.
In that price range, I would probably suggest:
a. Minolta Dimage F100 or Dimage F300
b. Canon Powershot S45 or S50 (since you already know the Canon controls.)
c. Konica KD-400z or KD-500z
If you had said around $600:
a. Nikon Coolpix 4500
b. Canon G3
c. Fuji Finepix S602 (very good camera but, bulky)
There are tons of them out there that will do a great job for you. You just have to find certain selling points that make you like one over another.
