I am sorry you have not received the answers to your questions today....but it is a holiday and I am sure that a lot of the people on this board are enjoying this day with family and friends. Maybe you should try to "bump" some of your threads tomorrow and you will have better luck. In any case, have a great day and great 2008!
I personally don't have any answers...sorry!

What're the problems you have encountered? Sometimes, you need a little thick skin to deal with some people on message boards, but I assure you, there are hundreds of incredibly helpful people here that are more than willing to help you.

hmmm need to take er down a notch. If you need help be patient and help will come, alot of people will help you when they have time. Take a peek on how many people on on this site. Lots of questions and lots of people helping other people. IF you notice that your question is not getting answered there is always the old way of finding things out and that is useing the search on this site. It has a lot of information.
So before commenting on how clicky people are ask your self is this going to really help me..

By the way welcome to the boards.

Geez Lisa, it is a Holiday!! KJR watches football all day on New Years...Eels should be fine together, the wolf eel is the more aggressive, make sure plenty of caves for both....Your fine to add sand....Hope you plan to upgrade soon, Sharks need BIG tanks...Happy New Year!!!!

Crap, if I had a dollar for everytime I felt the same I would be doing pretty well and not have the # of posts I do. Don't tell me you are a quitter. If you are S/W probably won't work for you cause it would take more dedication and understanding than forum dealings.

clickish???? how can you tell you have 5 post...someone will eventually answer if not give it a bump....i dont know any of these people but they all help if they can just have to give them time to get to their computer....i can also almost garuntee you that if you use the search option at the top you will more than likely find the answers you are looking for without having to ask for help

Dude...I have been at the Rose Bowl and finally saw your posts...we are not clickish. If it wasnt the new year I am sure that you would have had a plethora of replies quickly.
Add as much new sand as you need. Add it slowly so as to not disturb the water column too much. Also the eels should be fine. Make sure that you have enouogh room for each of them to hide in the rocks.
Good luck

Fishlisa, I am terribly sorry you feel this way. It is, I garauntee you, not the case with this MB. It wont take you very long till you feel as though this is just a great big ole family. It's not clicky at all. I help people who I believe I can help, that I have never even seen on here before. Sometimes some of us might disagree about things, I HAVE A HABIT SOMETIMES OF PUTTING THE OLD FOOT IN THE MOUTH
, but we move on. I have ticked some people off at times, but they come right back with advise and vise versa. I dont normally, well really, very seldomly, ever visit this particular part of SWF. Aggressive tanks are not my thing. But I did see your post and came over to read it. I hope you come back, if you have left, so I can help you sometime and probably get some help from you. Welcome BTW

Thank you to everyone who repsoned to all posts....I've just been on so many other boards and it's always been that way...I'm sorry maybe I was just being whinney or hungover or something.
Ok on a better note......I'm thinking the Wolf eel isn't one after all I've looked eveywhere and can't find his picture....I will try and get a picture on her later.....Again thank you all!

If you are talking about a green wolf eel, it is actually not a true eel, it is in the blenn family. There is a pic on this site, you can get the scientific name and google it for more info, I own one, and really like it, unlike some eels it does not hide all the time. They are active and stay in the open.

I never try to discourage fellow hobbiests; but, this may not be the best hobby for folks who expect instant gratification.

Who said anything about instant gratification. She just made some posts, didnt get any real timely reply's, and got a little frustrated. Apparently, she has had some bad experiences elsewhere. And assumied it would be the same here. I agree though, with the pace that this MB moves, somtimes it's hard to remember it can take a while to get a reply.
