Another Coral ID

I picked up this rock today because of the numerous worms. I was wondering what type of coral is encrusting it. As you can see it's pretty close to my Alveopora. There is also a Spongodes a few inches away on the other side. Is the proximity going to be a problem?

Thanks for giving me something to google. From what I'm reading, it sounds like this is going to be an expensive snack for my peppermints. Yay for impulse buys.

Almost a month later and I'm amazed that this "Christmas Tree Rock" is still alive and well. It seems like everything in my tank likes to pick at this guy. Pigmy Angel, Peppermints, Sally Lightfoot, Emerald, Hermit... It takes constant abuse, but the bleached areas have regained their color and the worms are still intact.
I've read that these can be difficult, but so far it seems to like baking right under my T5's with intermittent heavy flow.

The actual coral is Porites, guessing Porites lobata
specifically. Porites on the whole don't usually fare well in aquariums, one of the touchier SPS corals. But that above, might help to explain why yours is doing well.
