Another Cycling ???

i just set up a 90 dt . i'm using 170 lbs. lr which is cured and i'm going with a shallow sand bed of carib sea aragonite ,probably about 50 lbs. my ? is do i do the shrimp thing with a raw shrimp and remove it when the amonia hits 1.0 and can i put some misis shrimp in a media bag and accomplish the same thing .just set it up yesterday all looks good,even the water clarity is excellent which is good. well thanx in advance walt

just drop one piece of raw shrip in and about 2-3 days ur ammonia will be at 1 and then yes u take it out and let the tank do its thing. why get all complicated with the media bag... just keep it plain and simple. i would just let the filter be.
