Hello Everyone, My luck had gone from bad to worse in my search for a Clown Trigger, from my previous post a month ago, I returned the Clown Trigger to the store I purchased it from, they took him back no questions asked, gave me a full refund. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, I purchased my 1st fish online, very reasonable, 30 day guarantee, When he arrived I was blown away at how beautiful he is , he was very shy the first few days, but quickly became quite tame, that's when I noticed he had a white/pinkish ball on one of his pectoral fins, I contacted the company and was assured I will get a full refund after the 30 day guarantee. It is such a cool fish I am hoping I can rid him of the pest. Essentially he is in my QT, 48gal, I also have a 70 gallon show tank as well. Enclosed are a couple of photos, thanks for you help.

Describe the growth. Also, is the fish otherwise healthy? It looks like a white/pinkish ball, around a 1/8 of a inch in size, growing on the front of his fin. The fish is very healthy, voracious appetite, very nice color, no other blemishes. I've never seen anything like it on any fish in my 30 years in the hobby, but it does seem to be growing quickly. I'll try and take another photo in the morning, room is much brighter then, thanks Beth

I can't tell from the pictures if it's just on the fin, or if it's also attached to the flesh. Looks very similar to a tumor that came on a flame angel I ordered online. It started in the same spot (base of pectoral fin), and grew rapidly. Within a couple of weeks, it had turned black and grown into it's abdomen, so it could no longer eat. Sadly, it died. I hope this isn't the same thing, but if it is, I hope the vendor will make it right.

Yes, it can be treated and the fish can become symptom-less (but will always be suseptical to a flare-up given the right adverse conditions).

I will try using Zeocon, all other criteria, water condition, stress free, etc. are established, thanks for your help.

What are your water readings in QT?
I just took these readings, I get these same readings every time I test.
SG 1.022 Nitri 0
PH 8.2 Nitra 10-20
Am 0

It is a 48gal tank, I am using a Fluval 305 70gal capacity, along with a Aquarium Systems skimmer.
