Another lighting question.

I only have a standard light that came with my tank and i put in a 40watt 50/50 bulb. It is a 75gal and i don't think (almost sure ) my purple algae wont survive on my LR i bought. What is a good cheap light that will grow good algae and low light corals? I don't plan on having the higher lighting coral.

i just got a ice cap lighting system for my 29 gallon tank it is VHO with 300 watts

Anyone know if this is a good light and will it handle soft coral?

Can anyone tell me if this is a good light for $120 shipped? Or can you tell me another kind for $150 or less that will be good. I am looking to order one asap.
