Another Lighting Question

I just put in a Maroon Clown. I would like to put in a bubble anemone for him. The only light I have is a 48" 40watt Corlite 50/50 bulb.
This would be the only coral/anemone I would have in the tank. Would the BT anemone live?

Not with that light. You'll need to upgrade to higher wattage.

if you're looking for a cheeper upgrade just get a standard twin tube and go with a full atintic magentic and a full sunlight spectrum

anemones have poor survival rate in the capivity.
I would consider get some thing else.
MH or VHO/PC will be good.
regular 40W bulbs will not do the job

Bubble coral need much higher lighting. I suggest you return the bubble and buy a leather toadstool. My clown loves his toadstool more than anything in the tank
Not to mention the toadstool requires MUCH less lighting.

Thanks for the input. I haven't bought any type of anemone yet. I wanted to see what others suggested before I go out and do the wrong thing.
I will look at adding someinexpensive lighting.
