another maxima question...sorry

well ever since i started my tank almost 2 years ago i have wanted a maxima clam, i have 2x 250k MH 15k, i am still going to wait until my parameters are near to perfect as i can get them ( they are not bad but just started my sump/fuge and just want them to be better) anyway, i have heard that the maxima's need more of the atinic spectrum than other clams, i am guessing with my 15k's i should be ok, but i am by far no expert and know there are people here with more knowledge and experience here, thanks

i dont know about maxima clams needing more actinics. all tridacnid clams will do fine without actinic light. if u can keep lps and sps without issue, having a maxima wouldnt be a problem at all.
