Another Mystery Crab

I bought some rock yesterday and the guy said to be careful b/c he had seen a crab and didn't know if it was good or not. When I got home and started putting the rock in my tank the stupid thing fell out of the rock in the bucket. Now I need to know if you can tell if he's good or bad. I haven't been able to see his claws b/c they are constantly tucked under him, so I don't know if they are pointy or blunt. If he's bad or noone is able to tell he's puffer food. If he's good back in the tank he goes.

I put a little piece of shrimp in the bucket but so far it hasn't seemed interested.

he's not an acro crab or an emerald crab. that i can tell you. he looks more like a gorilla crab than a "good guy", but there are so many species.
here...see if it matches any of these:

It kind of looks similar to some of the Xanthid crabs. I got an eel today so it might make a good snack for him.

I finally saw it's claws. I put the shrimp on a feeder stick and dangled it in front of it. When it wouldn't take the bait I hit him with it a couple times right in his face and his claws popped out from under him. They're black and come to a point (no cups like emeralds). They just like the third picture in the third row of the sight that Mr_X posted. Now I need to know what's the best way to kill it so I can feed it to the toby puffer or eel?

if you havet feed it to them yet you could pull the claws off and drop it in the tank. I do this when I feed my eel live food
