Hello. I just setup my tank 3 weeks ago. It is a 75 gallon tank with a wet/dry filter. I have crushed coral on the bottom with some non-live rocks and coral for accents. I have 6 damsels and just added to hermit crabs. My cycling is doing well so far and the tank looks great.
My question is: I would like to have a tank with some reef elements, but my lfs says you either have a reef tank or a fish tank, not a combo. I saw a tank online with a small mound in the center with live rock and coral growing. The resty of the tank was open with fish. This is something I am interested in and need info.
Please help.
