another paly question

ok so i bought this georgous pink paly and i want the pink to stay bright so should i keep it to the top or the bottom and if it happens to turn to another shade will the baby polyps at the base of it now turn the shade the mother one turned? and thx

I have always been told to keep red, pink, and orange zoas high.

The only way to find out is test in different areas of your tank, I have some pinks that do well mid-way in my tank and I have some that are about 12" from one of my 250w halide....so just test yours out, the "babies" are clones, so they will be the same color and the ability to change just as the parent.

Yep pinks like very high light. If you move them to lower light they lose the pink and looks dull.

i have my pinks very high and are very bright...i noticed that the will dull out too when kept down low
