Another Protein Skimmer Question

Just wondering on my exit pipe on my protein skimmer it looks to be like I would call it tiny/foam bubbles is that what it should do or should it be clear water? Or do I have a leak some where?

What make model is your protien skimmer? It should be clear water coming out but sometimes especially if it is new you can't 100% avoid microbubbles you will have to play with the adjustments (water level, air intake) on your skimmer to reduce the bubbles leaving the skimmer.

its a euro-reef i cant tell the model # but its for a 47 gal tank.

I haven't used a Euro-reef so I don't have any specific suggestions but Have you tried the FAQs on Euro-reef's website I can't post a link to take you there but you should be able to find it if go to their site. One of the answers address's your problem.

I have a Euro reef RS80 on my 90, I to experienced the same problem you are having, I believe it just needs to break itself in. I simply let mine run an after 4 to 5 days it cleared up.
