Another RO/DI question.

Okay, so RO/DI is the way to go. But searching around, there are many units. There are some that are sold for aquariums and some for home use. The home use ones specify "drinking" water.
SO if I purchase a 4 or 5 stage RO/DI for drinking water, can I assume the it is good enough for the reef tank?
Thanks!

Yes, most are the same types. Look for one with lower gpd rates for cleaner water IMO ( unless you have a large tank and need a lot of water fast ) and many people dont think its safe to drink DI so might want one with a valve to bypass the DI for drinking. RO plus DI is best for tank water. Ones with common 10 inch pre filters are standard and easy and cheap for replaceing. Try to get a small pressurized storage tank with it too.

Google this "RO6100+DI, 2 output,RO+DI Drinking & Aquarium"
Only $115.00, has storage tank, drinking water attachment. Sets up very easily even after a six-pack.

Actually, they don't need to go anywhere near the tank...
Either under a Kitchen sink or down in the laundry room are best for plumbing, but with long enough lines (supply and drain) you could put it just about anywhere in the house you want...

RO water is safe to drink, but RO/DI water isn't. How much water does it put out per hour?
