another skimmer question

I played around with one for awhile and it left an awfull lot to be desired if it was to be called a skimmer....Even did the so called recomended mods that is supposed to improve its performance did little to nothing to make it worth pl;aying with, although when it did skim it worked fine, but it was a constant hassle adjusting and readjusting it on an almost daily basis.....They do not have the best track record if you do a search on them in various forums........I fyour lookiing for a skimmer with a lot of bang for the buck that works super and does not cost an arm and a leg, check out the coralife super skimmer with needle wheel technology..There are older model coralifes which are not needle wheel so I am told, so make sure its the super skimmer with needle wheel......There are other brands like remora that ha a good track record as well, but cost more, and don;t skim any better.

Yep... invest in a GOOD skimmer... they are workhorses and you get what you pay for.
