Sorry this post will probably be long, since I have lots of questions.LOL! I currently run a 5G micro salty with lots of shells and 2 anenomes, and a humbug damsel. I wish to setup a 10G micro reef. Since I don't need much live rock, I don't think its good to order the 50lbs that every online place I have been to has the min order of. My LPS sells live rock for $29.99 a lb so this wont work either, being in highschool and no job sucks. I do plan to order MoonRock from ********* Its used mainly for AfricanCichlid tanks, a form of calcium carbonate so it will help keep the PH up there. Do you think that rock is oK? Will it become "live" eventually? The LPS occasionally gets in some coral, mainly polyps or featherdusters. Then put in 4or5 anenomes(love these things!). My substrate will be crushed coral. Filtration will be a Whisper 1(10-30) powerfilter. I will probably get a tomatoe clown and maybe a percula clown, some cleaner shrimp as well. Would this tank be classified as a reef? What really makes a SW tank a reef? How do anenomes breed? Do they mate/divide/what? LOL! Sorry. ummmmmmm.......lighting on the 10G will be a 15watt actinic along with 60watt GE flo lighting. I use coral life salt if that matters. Thanks! :DPosting links to online stores is against the BB's #1 rule...MR.SALTY

What makes a tank a reef tank? What usaully goes in front of the word reef = coral. Anenomes slit kinda like mushroom coral. If you see 2 mouths on it it is probably about to split. As for that link if i was you i would take it off cause the sharks will get on to you.
thnx
